On your first day of a Minecraft world you should do these three things before nightfall. When the sun goes down the monsters come out, to attack!

Make a crafting table

A crafting table will allow you to create more complex items.

1. Search for a tree
2. Punch the tree until it breaks
3. Collect the wood blocks
4. Press E to go into your inventory
5. After the arrow next to the 2x2 grid you should see a crafting table
6. Place 1 wood block anywhere in the 2x2 crafting grid [pic]
7. After the arrow you should see 4 oak planks
8. Fill up the 2x2 grid with oak planks
9. Place crafting table in your hotbar

Craft a wooden sword

Your first weapon!

1. Go out of inventory (press E)
2. Look for a tree
3. Place crafting table on the ground
4. Punch the tree until it breaks
5. Right click on the crafting table
6. Place 1 oak plank anywhere on the 3x3 grid
7. Place an oak plank under or above the first oak plank
8. There should be 4 sticks after the arrow next to the 3x3 grid
9. Place the 4 sticks in your hotbar
10. In the crafting table put 1 stick in the bottom middle and 1 oak plank in the in the middle of the 3x3 grid and another oak plank in the middle top
11. You should see a wooden sword,put it in your hotbar

Craft a bed

While sleeping in a bed,mobs can’t attack you,nights will go faster and it will create a spawning point.

1. Find sheep
2. Use your sword to hit the sheep until it’s dead
3. Keep killing sheep until you have 3 wool blocks
4. Punch a tree until it breaks
5. Go to inventory(press E )
6. Place a wood block anywhere in the 2x2 grid
7. After the arrow you should see 4 oak planks
8. Place crafting table
9. Right click on the crafting table
10. Fill the bottom row with wool
11. Fill the middle row with oak planks
12. After the arrow you should see a bed,put it in your hotbar
